Sea calls – Montenegro – Campaign in Albania

National Tourist Organization of Montenegro and the Local Tourist Organization of Ulcinj, in cooperation with the Embassy of Montenegro to Albania, presented tourist offer for this season on the market of Albania, within the regional campaign “Sea calls – Montenegro”.
The promotion took place in Tirana. Citizens had an opportunity to obtain information about packages from under this campaign intended to the Region, which include seven days offer of private accommodation from 70 to 77 EUR, and offers of small hotels from 155 to 280 EUR.
It was pointed out that these packages include a number of benefits such as special discounts for services in restaurants, museums, etc.

The promotion was covered by many media, which were given statements by the Ambassador of Montenegro to Albania, Željko Perović, Mayor of Ulcinj municipality, Gzim Hajdinaga, NTO Manager, Ljiljana Čukić and Director of TO Ulcinj, Ali Rexha. Addressing the media, Ambassador Perović pointed out, in the first place, a good cooperation between the two countries, which indicates a great interest of media and citizens for this event, and thus for tourist offer of Montenegro, which has a lot to offer to tourists from Albania. Mayor Gzim Hajdinaga spoke about traditionally good number of visits of Ulcinj by tourists from this country.
He reminded that Ulcinj keeps developing every year and enriching its offer, and there is certainly a reason to visit Ulcinj again, and not only during summer but throughout the year. Journalists asked many questions and showed the highest interest in prices of services during this year’s season, followed by offer of Ulcinj, border crossings, tourism events and beaches.
Manager in NTO, Ljiljana Čukić, informed the media about the method for booking accommodation, web portal which provides detailed information and tourist offer of the north of Montenegro. This year’s campaign of NTO MNE and CTU is promoted in the most important Albanian media by TV clips. The promotion of Montenegro in Tirana was covered by the following media: Gazeta “Ekonomija”, “Standard”, “Gazeta Shicp:”, “Albania”, “Gazeta 55”, “Radio Tirana”, radio “Informacion”, “TV Scan”, “TV Alsat”, “Tv Koha”, “Top Channel”, “ATSH”, agencies, etc. According to official statistical data, Montenegro was visited by nearly 40.000 tourists from Albania in 2009, who realized more than 191.826 overnights.
