25 Albanians injured in bus accident in MontenegroTIRANA: An Albanian bus on Friday evening went off road and toppled into a ravine along the axes Bar-Ulqin, south of Montenegro, due to which at least 25 people were injured, according to Albanian Telegraphic Agency.

The accident happened Friday evening at about 18:00 local time, when the bus carrying 53 persons swirled off the road and felt into a ravine.

Glevi Dervishi, Albanian Foreign Affairs Ministry (MFA) Media Adviser, said that “according to official information from Albanian embassy to Podgorica, there is no talking of loss of lives, but one of the women traveling in the bus is seriously injured.”

MFA stated that the wounded were sent to Bar hospital, whereas the more seriously wounded were sent to the hospital center in Podgorica, capital of Montenegro.

“According to information from Montenegro, about 25 Albanian citizens were in the bus, as they were traveling towards Dubrovnik as tourists,” said Dervishi.
