TIRANA, July 2 /ATA/ – Transport and Infrastructure Minister, Edmond Haxhinasto on Thursday received Ulcinj’s mayor, Fatmir Gjeka, to discuss Adriatic-Ionian corridor project and the importance of its passage closer the Ulcinj area, to help the economic activity of this area.

Haxhinasto praised the cooperation between the two governments for the implementation of the Adriatic-Ionian corridor. For this project, the two countries have set up a joint working group to carry out the route’s tracing in the territory of the two countries.

The interlocutors also discussed the progress on the implementation of Podgorica-Tamara-Plav Guci road, which was inspected a few weeks ago by Ministers of Infrastructure of the two countries. /m.k/
