PODGORICA, SKOPJE — Montenegro’s ethnic Albanians should “celebrate Kosovo’s independence at home”. Montenegro In Tourism Push
Podgorica _ Montenegro has called on international investors to help develop high-end tourism along its coastline. The appeal by the country’s Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Protection calls on investors to help draft a preliminary appraisal for construction projects in the area. Madonna concert in Montenegro 2008
PODGORICA – Pop superstar Madonna is expected to perform in Montenegro, according to Podgorica daily Vijesti. Director of the Center for Strategic Studies Janusz Bugajski says Montenegro could join NATO in the next few years.
Bugajski told Podgorica daily Republika that it seemed “likely” that Croatia, Macedonia and Albania would be invited to join NATO at the alliance’s April summit in Bucharest. Oil reserves offshore of Ulcinj
With potential sub-Adriatic oil reserves of seven billion barrels,Montenegro could one day become the home of scores of black gold billionaires. Eager to capitalize on this potential fossil fuel bonanza, the Montenegrin Ministry of Economic Development is preparing a working bill that will provide a legal foundation upon which a petroleum industry can be built.
