Montenegro records 4.6% more tourists in 2012
In the first 8 months of 2012, 1.153.256 tourists visited Montenegro, which is 4.6% more compared to the same period last year. The tourists had 7.665.769 overnight stays, 4% more than in the first 8 months of 2011. The revenues generated from tourism in the first 8 months of 2012 amounted to EUR 609 million, which is 3% more than in the same period last year.Concerning the structure of overnight stays of foreign tourists, the most of them were realised from the tourists from the European Union, Russia and Serbia.
