Rome and Zagreb are taking against the decision of Montenegrin government regarding the exploration of oil and gas along the Adriatic Coast. Croatia and Italy believe that Montenegro doesn’t have a highly effective staff to carry on in the face of disasters; therefore, the state won’t be able to deal with and prevent difficulties during the ongoing work.
The lack of experience with the air currents and oil and gas wells would result in a calamity for our coastal region. Croatia and Italy have openly declared a moratorium on gas and oil drilling.
Albania will soon decide on how to respond in regards to the wells.
