Miss Albania 2014 competition kicks off in the Old Town of Ulcinj, On 20th – 27th June

On June 20th and 27th in the Old Town of Ulcinj will be held a great production relevant for its special contribution that promoted and continues to promote the best values of the Albanian feminine beauty, coming not only through physical charm, but also thanks to her intellect. This night will be special and different due to the fact that promotion of art and culture comes from multidimensional perspective: beauty contest, music, dancing and guests. As a tradition today, the way of conceiving and organizing this event aims at the intertwining of historical and touristic values of our city, since in the previous editions the Albanian beauty with its grace has touched some symbols of our history and culture.

The spectacle will feature two important points: beauty and intelligence contest. The crown of the Albanian beauty entitles the girl to represent Albania in one of the most important competitions of the globe, such as “Miss Globe International”.  As previous years, this year also will be promoted another value of the rich Albanian tradition, the Old Town. Located just some kilometers away from the Albanian border, the Old Town with its precious values will be the place where the queen of Albanian Beauty 2014 will be blessed.  Thanks to Vision Plus and other Albanian Televisions, this event will be able to be transmitted not only within borders but also abroad via satellite transmission. As in 16 previous years, formula of the contest “Miss Albania” is the same one – feminine beauty related to our tradition, reports Vision Plus. The most important beauty competition, the organization of “Deliart Association” in collaboration with Vision Plus will be held this summer in Ulcinj.  Petri Bozo, the producer of the spectacle, shows that this part of the heritage even though outside the borders is an Albanian area.

Even though June 27th seems far away, elements of the contest are already determined. Bozo reveals scenery design and photography director, the Italian Franco Ferrara, too.

By maintaining the tradition, “Miss Albania” 2014 will organize a tour to promote tourism values though participating beauties. The success of “Miss Albania” is the success of Bozo, the selection being the best part of his job.

The citizens of Ulcinj are waiting for the Misses. June, 20th and 27th will be considered as celebrations in Ulcinj. This spectacle was always and always will be opened not only for Albania, Kosova and Macedonia, but also for all those who feel Ulcinj.
