The olive grove’s of family Buzuku are located in Ulcinj, the most southern town of Montenegro. These olives are more than 450 years old, and are among the best varieties of olive trees not only in the Mediterranean but in the whole world. The variety of these olive is the local so-called Zutica, one of the best variety for oil production. The oil that is produced is of the category extra virgin and virgin oil. The extra virgin oils are all those oils which do not pass the percentage olioacid of 1.00%, and the virgin oils are those oils in which the precentage olioacid not exceed of 2.00%. In order to gain the results for this quality many standards must be respected, starting from the harvest, olive keeping, the purity of oil production …
We are holders of the quality recognition from the Montenegrean Agricultural Institute as the best producer of oil in the region. The percentage of olioacid in our oil is 0.6%, so it is the extra virgin quality.
It is in our family tradition for centuries to produce the best quality olive oil.
