Ulcinjs Old town is very important part of the European level” announced the famous French architect Benjamin Moutou and Christopher Rodolausse.

He and two of his younger colleagues have presented today at the “Venice” Palace historical and heritage studies and have suggested restoration and renovation for the Old town.

The aim of this, as they said, is to assist the reconstruction of this unique area, and that it could valorize better for cultural and economic needs.

French architects who were doing this study in collaboration with the Municipality of Ulcinj and the Foundation “Petrovic Njegos” emphasized that with their solutions they are trying to reconnect Old town with the sea.

They suggested that the local administration should create an architectural office that would especially deal with the Old town.

Prince Nikola Petrovic II said that there are projects in the Old town, which could be implemented in the short term.

The presentation was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture, French, Turkish and Austrian Ambassadors, MP Genc Nimanbegu, the leaders of NPO, and on behalf of the municipality of Ulcinj the guests were welcomed by Vice Mayor Ardijan Mavric.
