\nA one-day excursion was organized by the Office of Austrian-Montenegrin Partnership in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Protection and the National Tourism Organization. The Ambassador of Germany to Montenegro \u2013 Peter Plate was one of yesterday\u2019s excursionists who had enough courage and strength to go from Kolasin to the Biogradsko Lake by bicycle.
\nPodgorica \u2013 Mountaineering, biking and hiking by the Biogradsko Lake are only some offerings that can be presented to the tourists who visit Biogradska Gora, the oldest protected natural area in Montenegro.<\/p>\n

– Biogradska Gora is one of the three remaining virgin forests in Europe and it has a well-developed tourism infrastructure which was installed in recent years due to Austrian-Montenegrin partnership \u2013 said the General Manager of the National Park Biogradska Gora, Darko Brajuskovic, at yesterday\u2019s one-day excursion organized by the Office of Austrian-Montenegrin Partnership in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Protection and the National Tourism Organization.<\/p>\n

In words of the Project Manger of the Office of Austrian-Montenegrin Partnership for Bjelasica and Komovi- Vladimir Jablan, the excursion was aimed at demonstrating that Biogradska Gora offers plenty of room for sports and recreation, apart from admiring its flora and fauna. In order to promote the north of Montenegro, the organizers decided to take guests to Mojkovac by panoramic train which is the result of successful cooperation of the railway companies of Austria and Montenegro and which is about to be promoted for tourism purposes.<\/p>\n

The Ambassador of Austria to Montenegro Florian Raunig said that it was unusual experience to use the tourism train, but \u201cit is highly important that the company Railways of Montenegro shows how beautiful Montenegro is\u201d.
\n– This company can also prove to be a tourism aim itself \u2013 Rauning said.<\/p>\n

The Ambassador of Germany to Montenegro \u2013 Peter Plate was one of yesterday\u2019s excursionists who had enough courage and strength to go from Kolasin to the Biogradsko Lake by bicycle. Plate cycled a 25 kilometer-long tour and as he said it was rather difficult.<\/p>\n

– We Europeans want this kind of activities, no matter how demanding they are, and Montenegro has a lot to offer. But your people consider as an idea of fun to come to a caf\u00e9 by car and talk, talk and talk, and then to drive off to another town and talk some more\u2013 said the German Ambassador.<\/p>\n

An author of the film \u201cKroz prasumu do visina\u201d (Through the primeval forest up to the heights) Olivera Vukadinovic expressed her gratitude to the Office of Austrian-Montenegrin Partnership which, as she said \u201chelped us pay more attention to the beauty that surrounds us and not just take it for granted.\u201d<\/p>\n
