Le parlement mont\u00e9n\u00e9grin a convoqu\u00e9, aujourd’hui, pour le 6 avril la premi\u00e8re \u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle depuis que le Mont\u00e9n\u00e9gro a proclam\u00e9 son ind\u00e9pendance.
\nLe Mont\u00e9n\u00e9gro, qui compte 484.430 \u00e9lecteurs, a proclam\u00e9 son ind\u00e9pendance en juin 2006 apr\u00e8s un r\u00e9f\u00e9rendum qui a vu 55,5% des \u00e9lecteurs apporter leur soutien \u00e0 sa s\u00e9paration d’avec la Serbie.

Presidential elections will be held in Montenegro on April 6, Speaker Ranko Krivokapi? announced yesterday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Beta news agency reports from Podgorica that Krivokapi? called on citizens to participate in the election process, thus contributing to “the culture of dialogue, living in harmony together and everything that adorns Montenegro.”<\/p>\n

He also appealed to the presidential candidates to behave in such a way as to contribute to “the code of honor and honesty, to those values that will gather the citizens around European integrations.”<\/font><\/p>\n

Krivokapi? was speaking in a news conference when he invited the OSCE, the EU, and other international organizations and associations to monitor the presidential elections in Montenegro.<\/font><\/p>\n

He also said that “the winner is already known, and that is the freely expressed will of the citizens.”<\/font><\/p>\n

Incumbent Filip Vujanovi? of the Democratic Party of Socialists will run for another term, and is being challenged by the leaders of the two biggest opposition parties, Neboj\u0161a Medojevi? of the Movement for Change and Andrija Mandi? of the Serb People’s Party.<\/font><\/p>\n
