Away from the noise and congestion of the city, surrounded by the untouched beauty of nature and the blue horizon of the Adriatic Sea, adorned with Mediterranean plant is located the island Ada. Ada is an island in which everyone falls in love in a first look. Ada Island is a triangle bordered from two sides by the river Bojana and by the Adriatic Sea from the south-west. Shores of Ada are not committed; they take a different form every year, making the beach change shape, and making it one of the most popular destinations in Montenegro.
Ada Island is 15km away from center of Ulcinj, a paradise on its own, which consists of the hotel complex Ada Bojana, whose low building haven’t put at risk the authentic view of the environment, as well as camp hotel Ada Bojana, which is near the nudist beach and features numerous villas and bungalows, renovated in 2012. There is also the campsite Ada, for all those who wish to spend the summer in Ada with their own comfort in a mini oasis for nudists.
Ada Bojana offers a range of activities for those who want an active holiday. As far as sport and recreation is concerned, guests can take the advantage of tennis field, field for small football, volleyball field, and ping pong tables. One of the most interesting attractions offered by this complex, known as its symbol, is horse riding.
However, what makes this place far more famous is kite surfing, respectively, gliding on the water. Because of the “good” wind, experienced kite surfers say that for many years Ada has been the “capital” of surfers on the Adriatic and can stand shoulder to shoulder with the Canary Islands, Hawaii, Portugal, or Egypt, where the above mentioned sport is the most popular. If you are a beginner, Ada Bojana offers classes for these water sports and the equipment needed. The training lasts from four to five days.
It is also a place where you can see the most beautiful sunset, with very beautiful fish restaurants that still fish in the traditional way. You can have dinner at the hotel restaurant that offer rich Swedish table, or at the restaurant Barbana which is located at the mouth of river Bojana.
