School of Euro-Atlantic Integrations in Ulcinj
In order to approach the youth regarding current integration processes important for their future, “New Horizon” NGO, with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Montenegro, continues the practice of organizing The Local School of Euro-Atlantic integrations.
The project “GETTING READY FOR INTEGRATIONS” comes as the continuation of activities started in previous years, which were intended for young people from Ulcinj.
Since the dynamics of European and Euro-Atlantic route of Montenegro increases, so the need for a greater inclusion of young people in these processes increases every day. Information that young people have about these processes are extremely limited, especially in areas where minorities live in Montenegro, due to the language barriers.
“New Horizon”, supported by the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica, continues with the educational activities to inform and introduce high school students and local population with the importance of European and Euro – Atlantic integrations.
The project aims to increase awareness about activities on European and Euro-Atlantic integrations as well as provide an opportunity for young people in Ulcinj, through educational workshops and socializing to acquire new knowledge, and to know the value of European Union and NATO Alliance. As the project develops in a multinational environment, the aim of the project certainly is the contribution to the promotion of tolerance and multiculturalism in our community.
