U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro Sue K. Brown hosted a private Iftar dinner in Ulcinj

On August 23, U.S. Ambassador Sue K. Brown hosted an Iftar dinner in hotel „Mediteran Resort“ in the Town of Ulcinj.  Seventy religious, political, cultural, business, academic, NGO and media representatives from the Muslim community in Montenegro  attended the dinner.

Ambassador  Brown underlined that Islam is an integral part of America and reminded guests of the historic speech President Obama delivered in Cairo in June 2010,marking a new beginning in the relationship between the U.S. and Muslim world.

The Ambassador also praised the Muslim community in Montenegro for fostering good relations and contributing to building Montenegro’s democratic future.
