Ambassador Brown Hosts Iftar Dinner in Ulcinj

U.S. Ambassador to Montenegro Sue K. Brown hosted a private Iftar dinner on the occasion of the Islamic religious holiday Ramadan at hotel Mediteran in Ulcinj on August 23. Guests included 60 religious, cultural, business, and civic contacts of the Embassy from the Muslim community.
This is the seventh Iftar dinner organized by U.S. Mission in Montenegro. Similar events were organized in 2005, 2006, and 2010 in Podgorica, 2007 in Pljevlja and in 2009 in Ulcinj.

During the day, Ambassador Brown also met with the Mayor of Ulcinj Gzim Hajdinaga, President of Local Assembly Luigj Shkrela and Director of Local Tourist Organization Ali Rexha, as well as opposition leaders Nazif Cungu, MP Genci Nimanbegu, MP Mehmet Bardhi and Amir Hollaj.
Ambassador Brown visited Centre for Children with Disabilities to share a cake with children with disabilities and their parents.
