After returning from Montenegro, Prime Minister Berisha spoke in the Government meeting about the joint projects that Albania has with the neighboring country, such as the deepening of the Buna River and the opening of the border checkpoint in Zogaj. 

“The government of Montenegro is engaged for the constructions at the Podgorice-Hani i Hotit road.  In a few months, the distance between Shkoder and Podgorice will be shorter. We have agreed to review the project for deepening the Buna River and make it navigable”, Berisha declared.

The Prime Minister also asked his ministers to post the expenses of each ministry online, in order to serve transparency to the public.

“The Albanian Government is one of the few governments in the world that requires transparency of the expenses. I demand that the Albanians can read these expenses not only on the official book of the Ministry of Finances, but also on the web pages of each Ministry or agency”, Berisha declared.

Berisha: In March, Albanians of Montenegro to be equipped with ID card

Ulcinj – Within March, Albanians in Montenegro will enter the Albanian territory through an ID card. This was declared by Prime Minister Sali Berisha. Yesterday, January 25, afternoon, he visited the commune of Tuzi and Ulcinj in Montenegro.

?This issue belongs to bureaucrats, but I hope it does not last more than 5-6 weeks until it passes to parliament; it has been included in the parliament?s agenda, and there is no obstacle,? said Berisha.

He met with the head of Tuzi commune, Nikola Gegaj, and later he met with the commune?s representatives in parliament. During his speech, Berisha expressed the support of Albania in every attempt to preserve and develop their national and cultural identity, and every attempt for better education.

Meanwhile, in Ulcinj, the Prime Minister was welcomed by the head of this commune, Nazif Cungu, and he met with the citizens of Ulcinj.
