Miss Albania 2014 will be held in Ulcinj Montenegro

The national competition of Albanian beauty, Miss Albania 2014 will be held hosted in Montenegro. This competition will see the participation of girls from Albania and other countries of the region where Albanians live.

Producer of this show, Petri Bozo has signed the agreement of cooperation with the mayor of Ulcinj, Fatmir Gjeka for the hosting of this show in the castle of Ulcinj (photo).

Thus, from June 20 to June 27, Albanian beauties will be the special guests of this city. On June 27, the most beautiful Albanian girl will be crowned in the beautiful castle.

This is the first time that such agreement is signed to hold an Albanian national event outside the territory of the Republic of Albania.

Ulcinj is a beautiful tourist city, which will turn this June into the big nationwide Albanian arena of beauty.

The mayor of Ulcinj, Fatmir Gjeka has expressed his maximum support, considering this event as an ambassador of cultural cooperation between Albanian speaking regions. Alida Cenaj, spokeswoman of the show, says that this year’s edition will not lack the traditional tour of Miss Albania, which will be held not only in the tourist areas within the border, but outside it too.

“This year too, the beauty show will follow the tradition of all these regions, one miss-one castle-one history.  This year, beauty must join Albanians in Ulcinj”, says Cenaj. /ibna/

Opposition criticized on Tuesday a decision to held a beauty pageant for miss Albania in Montenegro. According to the announcement, the beauty pageant  for the most beautiful Albanian woman will be held from 20 to 27 June in costal town of Ulcinj. The leader of the opposition Movement for Change, Nebojsa Medojevc, said that although he has nothing against hosting the event in Montenegro, he is sure that if the beauty pageant for Miss Serbia is announced in Montenegro, the whole  “regime machinery” will be up to show that what “Serbs are doing something against Montenegro”.
