Selangor coach Mehmet DurakovicSelangor head coach Mehmet Durakovic said his players would benefit a lot when they meet Spanish giant Sevilla at Shah Alam stadium on Monday.

This is the first time UEFA Cup champion Seville will be playing in Malaysia. Among the players from Sevilla who is down in Malaysia are Javi Varas, Sergio Rico, Mode, Israel Puerto, Moi, Coke, Diogo, Fazio, Alberto Moreno, Fernando Navarro, Nico Pareja, Daniel Carriço, Piotr Trochowski, Vicente Iborra, Cotán, Vitolo, Chelsea Loanee Marko Marin, Jairo Samperio and former Arsenal forward Jose Reyes.

The Spanish side will be without the services of Ivan Rakitic, Beto and Carlos Bacca due to their World Cup preparations, while Kevin Gameiro is out injured.

Durakovic said Sevilla was a great side and it was a chance of a lifetime for the players to get such a big exposure.

“They are very technical side and hope my boys will take this opportunity to learn from them.

“Their passing, long balls and their finishing is some aspect that we should learn.

“The boys are very eager and excited to play on Monday.â€

In other note, he said his boys were prepared to play Johor Dahrul Takzim (JDT) at their home ground today.

“I hope the boys will give their best.â€

Sevilla coach Unai Emery said his players were honoured to play in Malaysia.

“I have warned my players not to take this match lightly. The ball is round and anything can happen in football. I will fill my best squad.â€

This is the second Spanish side to play in Malaysia. Last year, Barcelona played against the national squad.
